Replace Your Custom GPT With an App
A free masterclass for coaches running group programs: everything you need to know before your GPT retires on December 11.
Your GPT has an end date
On December 11, OpenAI stops running custom GPTs. Plugins are the replacement, but your clients’ past conversations don’t come with them, and OpenAI says the migrated version may not behave the same.
If your GPT is a side tool, migrating is probably fine. But if it’s core to how your program delivers, you’re about to rebuild something your clients use every week. So it’s worth deciding what it should become instead of moving it to the next chat window.
What your GPT can’t do
Your GPT gives your clients good answers. But your clients don’t get results because they had a good chat. They get results because they followed your framework, step by step, and someone noticed when they stalled.
A GPT waits for the client to open it and know what to ask. The clients who need you most aren’t logging in to ask questions. And the ones who are often have 3 or 4 bots from different programs, stuck in chats instead of taking the next step.
A premium coaching program isn’t a suite of AI bots.
This is for you if
- groupsYou run a group program, membership, or mastermind
- smart_toyYour custom GPT is core to your program, and clients use it every week to do the work you ask of them
- routeNow that you have to replace it anyway, you want to build something around your whole program instead of a single tool

What you’ll see
I’ll walk through a real coaching app live.
Your client opens the app, sees exactly where they are in your framework, and gets one clear next step. Everything they’ve done before is already there, so they never start a new chat or re-explain their situation.
You see every client in one place: who’s moving, who’s stalled, and who needs help before they go quiet.
All of it runs in your brand, on an app you own.
I’m Mujidah. I spent 5+ years as a product manager, the person who decides what gets built into an app and makes sure it actually works for the people using it. I’ve been coaching alongside that, and now I build client apps for coaches, including a content evaluator for a business coach with a team of co-coaches. I’ve also launched 4 apps of my own, 2 of them on the App Store.
